Senior Portraits

Jayci Rose

Class of 2011

When taking senior pictures you don't just want dull and drab pictures, you want pictures that show you're personality, pictures that when you look back 15 years from now you can say, this isn't just what I looked like at 17 this is who I was. It wasn't hard to capture Jayci's spunk or high spirits. I can hardly believe this beautiful girl is already 17. Congrats to the grad!

Child Session

Anthony Blue Bonnets

Little red

So happy I finally was able to take pictures of this little one. Though this shoot was dedicated to taking pictures of both him and micah for our family, these were the few shots I got of him by himself. Can you believe he's only 9 months and is already starting to walk!

Child Session

[Micah]

The fire behind my drive.

You may recognize this dark hair, dark eyed little one. This is my little guy. Being a mom has so many great plusses. Having my child as a free labor model is one of them. :) Kidding, but I do love taking pictures of him. When we passed this field of blue bonnets the other day I couldn't help thinking the only thing that could make it more beautiful, is my little boy right in the middle of it. The vintage suitcases featured in these photos are also a new addition to my set of props available upon request.

Maternity Session

Christina

Bellies are beautiful.

This momma, was easy going and was a good sport about all of my ideas. Strange as it may seem I loved one of the silly onesies she had, and as you can see she, her baby and it, made the main picture for this month. :)

Engagement/ Family Session

McDonald Engagement

Ahhh spring is here and you know what that means... Love is in the air.

Corny as it may seem, the fact remains that there is love in the air and wedding bells are soon to be heard for the McDonald family. When I was first approached about doing an engagement and wedding package for the Mcdonald family I was excited about the opportunity for more experience in wedding photography. Every couple is different and has their own style and I am thankful to have been able to work with people that came into the session with fresh new ideas.

Be looking for photos from the McDonald wedding here and on facebook!

Family Session

Litke Family

As I post these pictures a tear comes to my eye. Vicky Litke, was a beautiful woman both inside and out. Though her body weekend, her spirit never did. I look back at this day and I remember how warm her smile was, and how kind her words were. She inspired me as I clicked away behind my lens, my camera capturing her peacefulness. To have fought cancer in any form or fashion and survive is a great feat, but to have battled it twice and not loose hope is even more amazing. I had the pleasure of photographing her for the last time and walked away with a deeper appreciation for all that I had. Vicky Litke touched so many lives during her time here, and I believe that she will continue to do so as her memory lives on, through her photos, through her paintings, and through her words.
